Halo 4 Will Require 8GB Install For Multiplayer

Any owners of the 4GB Xbox 360 console may have a bit of an issue with playing Halo 4‘s multiplayer modes unless they have bought some extra memory for their console.

It appears that the next iteration in the hugely popular franchise will require at least 8GB of free space on the Xbox 360. Microsoft also advise that players install the entire game to their hard drive for the “optimal experience”.

Unfortunately they didn’t expand upon just how big the actual entire games install size would be.

The multiplayer portion will definitely be worth the install size by the sounds of it though, with the game coming with two separate components of multiplayer, War Games and Spartan Ops. War games will feature all the expected Halo game modes, but Spartan Ops will feature new story driven co-op experiences every week!

Halo 4 is due out November 6th.
