The above image popped up in a number of places after today’s release of the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer, but I saw it first on neogaf so I shall give them the credit. Since it’s tiny red text on a black background and a compressed image that’s been reduced in size, you won’t really be able to read it at all. The part pertaining to a game reveal on 5 February says the following:
And that’s not all that’s new. We are about the reveal our other project, which is much closer to being completed, and yes it will be a fully open-world game with an intense story. You can probably guess the game we’re talking about. On the 5th of February it will be all clear.
Does that suggest The Witcher 3 to you? It does to me. The developers have already made noises about the third Witcher game being further along in production than Cyberpunk 2077. If the latter game is still scheduled for 2015, then it would make a certain amount of sense to see Geralt cleaving his way through monsters again in 2014.
