Hitman 3 Berlin Sniper Rule Of Threes Tremaine

Hitman 3: Berlin — The Sniper and Rule of Threes challenge

Sensational sniping

The Sniper aims to hunt you down, but you’ll be ready for him. Likewise, you can complete the “Rule of Threes” and “47th Trick in the Book” assassination challenges while you’re at it. Here’s our guide to help you out.

Hitman 3: Berlin guide – Taking out the Sniper

The Sniper is Agent Tremaine of the ICA. He’s all the way at the northeastern edge of the map high atop the biker hangout/factory.

Important save: If you want to do both “Rule of Threes” and “47th Trick in the Book” on the same run, I would suggest keeping a save handy. Also, I do hope you followed my advice in our Berlin/Apex Predator guide about subduing some agents.

“47th Trick in the Book” assassination challenge

Simply make your way to the biker hangout/factory and reach the roof deck.

Climb down one level below and you should see Agent Tremaine with a backup biker. Take out his pal first.

Grab Tremaine’s sniper rifle and shoot him in the head with it.

You’ll complete “47th Trick in the Book,” and you can safely reload your save if you want.

“Rule of Threes” assassination challenge

This one requires you to snipe three rival agents from the radio tower. The only way you can get here is by reaching mastery level 8 (choose this are your starting point), or by grabbing the radio tower key from Agent Green.

Anyway, climb the ladder and try to avoid triggering the laser tripwire so Tremaine doesn’t get alerted.

The reason why I suggested subduing some of the agents who are at the open-air locations of Hitman 3‘s Berlin level is that they’re easier to kill if they’re not moving. In my case, I simply incapacitated Agent Price and Agent Green.

Important save: Make sure to have a save prior to shooting Price, Green, and Tremaine.

As for Agent Tremaine, he won’t be aware of you just yet. Go ahead and blast him with a sniper rifle. It’s very likely that Tremaine’s backup would discover his body. This will fail your Silent Assassin run, so this is mostly just to complete the tally.

Note: Get the “Rule of Threes” tally done then reload your save. Assuming Price and Green (and maybe other agents) have been subdued, you can slightly cheese the “Drive It Home” challenge without needing to do another run. You might even get Silent Assassin or SASO since you haven’t been discovered yet.
