Kafka is a 5-star Honkai: Star Rail character introduced in the second half of the version 1.2 update. Kafka is a Nihility Lightning character and is the premier DoT damage dealer in Honkai: Star Rail. Kafka gets stronger the more characters with DoTs you pair with her, putting Kafka in a unique position compared to the other damage dealers in Honkai: Star Rail. This member of the Stellaron Hunters can instantly trigger DoT effects and deal insane damage. To level up Kafka in Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll need the following ascension materials:

  • Level 20 – 40: x4,000 Credits, x5 Thief’s Instinct
  • Level 40 – 50: x16,000 Credits, x6 Usurper’s Scheme, x3 Shape Shifter’s Lightning Staff
  • Level 50 – 60: x40,000 Credits, x9 Usurper’s Scheme, x7 Shape Shifter’s Lightning Staff
  • Level 60 – 70: x80,000 Credits, x6 Conqueror’s Will, x20 Shape Shifter’s Lightning Staff
  • Level 70 – 80: x160,000 Credits, x9 Conqueror’s Will, x35 Shape Shifter’s Lightning Staff

You can get the Thief’s Instinct item and its higher-tier variants by fighting enemies at the Storage Zone at the Herta Space Station. You can also get this item in the Simulated Universe, the Embers Exchange store, and as Assignment Rewards.

You can get the Shape Shifter’s Lightning Staff item by farming the Stargazer Navalia Stagnant Shadow calyx located at the Xianzhou Loufu.

To level up Kafka’s traces, you’ll need the following materials:

You can get the Obsidian of Dread item and its higher-tier variants by farming the Bud of Nihility Calyx at Jarilo-IV at the Great Mine.

You can get one Tracks of Destiny per week by completing the Simulated Universe, once a month at the Embers Exchange shop, or by participating in various events.
