Season of Discovery is now here for WoW players. It brings a brand-new adventure to the vanilla universe and players are excited to try out all the new seasonal runes. With this said, we’re going to go over how long SoD is going to last.
WoW Classic: How long is Season of Discovery
However, if you intend on diving in, you must do so ASAP, as the current level cap is 25, and Blizzard has already stated that they intend to increase this over the coming months. Blizzard hasn’t currently commented on the exact length for each season, but players have some speculation that the full length of Season of Discovery will be around a year or so.
This is on track for any length for a Blizzard expansion, and it doesn’t surprise us, as it appears they have a ton of content for players to check out in the coming weeks.

While we can expect monthly or so updates that will increase the level cap, alongside adding new runes, we can expect the actual Season of Discovery to take us into the tail-end of 2024 at least.
