Warzone: What is the Squad Rage Field Upgrade?
One of the major additions to Season 3 of Modern Warfare 3 is the return of Rebirth Island to Warzone. This map is as iconic as Call of Duty maps can get and it comes with a plethora of new additions. One of them – in case you are not aware of my segue way – is the Squad Rage Field Upgrade, which is, by the way, exclusive to Rebirth Island once it drops in Season 3.
Squad Rage is an enhanced version of the Battle Rage Field Upgrade. By using Squad Rage, you will receive all the benefits from the base Battle Rage which includes health regeneration, Tactical Equipment resistance, and you will be able to sprint for longer stretches. However, the advantage over Battle Rage is that you will be able to also give this effect to the members of your squad. Once deployed, an area of effect around your character will appear. This will give the Battle Rage effects to any of the squad members that are inside said area. Moreover, any gas that may be surrounding the same area of effect will be vaporized, similar to the Portable Decontamination Station.
How to acquire the Squad Rage Field Upgrade in Warzone?
As with any other Field Upgrade in the game, there are two ways in which you can get Squad Rage in Warzone. On one hand, you can loot any caches you may come across, cross your fingers, and hope the RNG overlords favor you so that you can find this new Field Upgrade. On the other, you can just gather some hard-earned money by purchasing the Squad Rage at any Buy Station in Rebirth Island.
The Battle Rage bonuses and the ability to travel across gas clouds are something you might want to equip your team with. So, once Season 3 drops, be sure to equip the Squad Rage Field Upgrade, gear up with a good build, and take care of your unsuspecting enemy squads.
