Having friends in Monopoly GO

In Monopoly GO, there are a few benefits to having friends. Firstly, you’ll get free dice by simply connecting to Facebook and connecting the game to your contacts. With each friend milestone you hit, you’ll get cool rewards, enticing you to get even more.

Only with friends can you use the community chest feature. Every day, as you and your friends land on community chest tiles, you’ll rack up the prize pot. Having at least five friends will allow you to engage in a fun minigame to earn additional rewards in a fun and social way.

Also, you and your friends can steal from each other and shut each other down, leading to friendly rivalries and revenge cycles that will get out of hand. This is actually useful for certain events that get points through performing both of those events.

When a partners event is active, you can buddy up with friends of your choosing, and who better than people you already know? This event will be much more fun if you’re building up attractions with a friend.

But to participate in all of this excitement, you’ll first need to get friends in the first place.

Adding friends in Monopoly GO

Thankfully, the process couldn’t be simpler to add a friend in Monopoly GO. Through the ‘friends’ tab at the bottom of your page, you can manage every social aspect in Monopoly GO. You can connect to Facebook and your contacts to automatically meet with others you know who are playing the game, or you could invite people and get them to install the game.

If there aren’t many people you know who want to play the game, then you can add other random Monopoly GO players. Thankfully, there is no communication in-game with other players, so it is completely safe to add strangers in Monopoly GO. If there was the potential of any communication, then it would be a different story.

I hope you found this helpful, and that your friend list won’t be so empty for long! For more Monopoly GO advice, check out PC Invasion.
