The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded update is here with new game modes, the arrival of the iconic Shipment map, and much more. As always, a new weapon has dropped with the mid-season update. This time, the Chimera, aka the Honey Badger, has joined MW2‘s assault rifle category. And with the best attachments, you can build a strong Modern Warfare 2 Chimera, or Honey Badger, class.
The Chimera, known as the Honey Badger from Call of Duty: Ghosts, is a weapon with a built-in suppressor that can pack a serious punch at close to medium ranges. Before you can use the Chimera, you have to unlock it and there are a few ways of doing so. You can either complete a challenge in multiplayer that tasks you with getting two operator kills in 15 separate matches, extract the gun from Building 21 in DMZ, or purchase it in a store bundle.

To kick start your Chimera class, the Sakin Tread-40 improves both your horizontal and vertical recoil control. Follow this up with the 10” SA Phoenix barrel to increase your bullet velocity and damage range, as well as greater hip fire accuracy and recoil control. When you’re selecting an underbarrel, the FTAC Ripper 56 is a viable option for increased aiming idle stability, recoil stabilization and hip fire accuracy.
There are a couple more important attachments to note. The 45 Round Mag widens your magazine ammunition capacity, meaning you’ll be able to take out multiple enemies in a single clip. Finally, the Cronen Mini Red Dot is a clear sight that will allow you to make the most of the improved accuracy, recoil, and damage range.
