Just like how you can change your Sims’ looks, how you can change your horse’s saddle in The Sims 4: Horse Ranch is by planning their outfit. Simply interact with the horse, select ‘Horse Care’, then select ‘Plan Outfits’. This will automatically send your horse into Create A Sim.

As soon as you get a horse, you won’t be able to tell what their saddles look like until you ride them. If you aren’t very happy with the way they look, don’t worry. When you go into Create A Sim, you’ll see an array of customization options for what your horse can wear. Or, if you’re making a new household, you can create your very own horse yourself.

No matter which way you do it, you can change their saddle and outfits in Create A Sim. There are multiple options for saddles, accessories, and even their bridles. And just like with all Sims clothing, each item has different color combinations. With that selection of customization options, you can easily change your horse from looking boring to stylish.

The only thing horses don’t constantly wear are saddles and bridles. Those only appear on them if you start to ride them. Also, looking at the rigorous modding community behind The Sims 4, you can expect a wide range of clothing and accessory mods on the way.
