How to complete Balls to the Wall in Cyberpunk 2077

Like a lot of the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty missions, Balls to The Wall gives a lot of exposition and a little action. Most of this quest is pretty straightforward as you will just be expected to either listen to Paco or experience Hansens’ life through his Braindance.

Initially, you need to meet Paco in Dogtown, just Northwest of the Golden Pacific fast-travel location.

Once you have found him win the shantytown that has popped up in the city, he will offer you a chance to experience his story through a Braindance. Plug yourself in, and get ready for the wild ride in Balls to The Wall.

As an important note, don’t start this mission until you have progressed at least to gig three with a few fixers. This will come in handy later in Balls to The Wall.

Fight Paco

You are now Hansen. Simply kick the daylights out of Paco for a time until he submits. You will then pick him up and welcome him into Hansens’ private militia.

Plug back into Balls to The Wall

You will come out of the Braindance for a time to talk to Paco. Once you enter back in, you’re in a car chase as Hansen. Kill the enemies from the car and wait until you reach a tunnel. This part of the game is just showing off Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberties’ new car combat system. Aim for the tires and drivers to get rid of them quickly.

Once you have reached the tunnel, the fight continues on the ground. Dispatch the enemies, they’re not much of a challenge for the monster that is Hansen.

Paco’s problems

Once you unplug from the Braindance, you will find out that Paco has unwisely decided to steal generators from Hansen. It is up to you to help Paco. You will have three options.

  • Frame Yuri – You will end up having to fight Yuri, and Paco will be found headless, hanging from a bridge.
  • Tell him to run – He will run, and after two days, you can meet him at Afterlife. You will be awarded the Carmen Assault Rifle.
  • Make some calls – This option is only available if you have a few fixers on speed dial. They will sort the problem out for you in a variety of ways, and you will still end up with the Carmen. This is the best option in Balls to The Wall if you have it.
