Dead Island 2 has a lot of things to do in its large world. You can be looting different fuse boxes, unlocking different types of containers with keys, or even doing one of the game’s many side quests. One of the ongoing side quest chains in Dead Island 2 is a questline that revolves around Amanda Styles, an influencer in the world of the game. She asks you to brutally murder zombies for her to make content out of, and doing it different ways. Some of these methods can be hard to figure out, so here’s our guide on how to complete Like and Follow mission in Dead Island 2.

The first step to tackling this quest is to go and find Amanda herself. You can find her on The Pier in Santa Monica. Once you speak to her, she’ll ask you to turn on the electricity in the dodgems and take out zombies using electricity.

The easiest way of taking out zombies with electricity is to modify a weapon of yours with electricity. This can be any weapon, but a melee weapon seems to do the job quicker than a firearm. This is probably due to the fact that firearms kill zombies quicker, meaning they aren’t having the electricity state fully applied. You can also use the ‘Electric Star’ Curveball you get in Dead Island 2 to complete this quest, as that Curveball also electrifies enemies rather quickly.

The second objective

Upon completion of this step, Amanda moves further forward down The Pier, and asks you to cut off zombie heads. This can be done in numerous ways, but I personally had the most luck doing this with a well-aimed Nailgun.

The final objective

After completing this step of the Like and Follow mission in Dead Island 2, Amanda once again moves further down The Pier. Once you catch up with her, she’ll ask you to perform one last task: Knocking zombies off of The Pier. This is probably the hardest task you have to do in this mission, but it’s not that hard once you know a few tricks.

The first thing you should take into account is how to do this, drop kicking zombies is the most efficient way of getting them to fly off The Pier. Equipping the Drop Kick skill card will enable you to send them absolutely flying. Once you have this Skill Card set, doing this should be easy enough if you have enough Med Kits to heal the amount of hits you’ll probably end up taking.

One thing you can do to take less hits is to cull the herd a little every so often, just throw a ‘Pipe Bomb’ Curveball into the mix every so often to lower the amount of zombies running at you, and this should go a lot easier. Just lure one or two zombies at a time to the side of The Pier, and then dodge, and drop kick. It might take a few tries, and be careful not to fall off The Pier, but you should get there eventually with this knowledge.

Once you’ve done that, you’ve completed the Like and Follow mission in Dead Island 2, congrats!
