Escape from Tarkov: How to complete You’ve Got Mail

You’ve Got Mail is one of the many quests you can choose to undergo in Escape from Tarkov. You receive it from Prapor, one of the many traders in the game which will task you with several extraction missions in the several violent maps. In this case, you will first need to be at level 10 to accept this quest and you will have to infil to the Streets of Tarkov map and complete the following objectives:

  • Obtain the registered mail.
  • Hand over the letter to Prapor.

This is a simple pickup quest that should not pose any threat other than the normal stuff you have to go through to extract from the map. You will find the registered mail inside the Post Office – go figure.

Now, the slightly tricky part regarding this quest is that the registered mail will appear randomly across different spawn points. However, these four spawn points are located in the same room in the Post Office. Head inside the Post Office and walk straight to the corridor past the Exit sign, then enter the second door to the left and you will find yourself inside the computer room, where the registered email is waiting for you in one of the following spots:

Registered mail possible spawn points

  • Locate the drawer behind the counter and open the top left cabinet. The mail will be inside.
  • On the counter, right behind the chair, you will find the mail in the bottom right compartment.
  • To the left of the desk with the computer, you can find the email between the sports bag and the dead Scav.
  • Finally, head to the opposite side of the room and open the door to the storage room. You will find it on the bottom shelf between packages.

Once you collect the registered mail, head to the closest extraction point and revisit Prapor to deliver the letter. As you can see, this quest is pretty straightforward. I would certainly keep an eye out for any Scavs that may appear on your way to both the Post Office and the extraction point. Other than that, you should not experience any issues. When you complete the mission, you will get the following rewards:

You’ve Got Mail mission rewards

  • 4,800 experience points.
  • +0.02 to Prapor reputation.
  • A minimum of 28,000 Roubles.
  • One 6B47 Ratnik-BSh helmet (Olive Drab)
  • One 5.45x39mm BP gs ammo pack (30 pcs)
  • You will be able to purchase the 9x18mm PM SP7 gzh from Prapor.
