Hoyoverse’s upcoming action RPG Zenless Zone Zero is coming to PlayStation 5 alongside PC and mobile devices, and a Technical Test is being held so players can check out the game ahead of its official launch later this year.

Just like previous Hoyoverse beta tests with games like Honkai Star Rail, there’s no guarantee you’ll be selected if you apply and there’s not a whole lot of information about what the Technical Test for Zenless Zone Zero will entail. The PC and mobile versions of the game have already had multiple beta tests called Amplifying Tests (with another on the way soon), but the PS5 test will likely be behind those versions.

Zenless Zone Zero PS5 Beta Schedule

Currently, there is no schedule for the Zenless Zone Zero Technical Test on PlayStation 5. Sign-ups are available until Wednesday, April 15, 2024 at 15:00 (UTC+8). It’s a separate sign-up from the Amplifying Test on PC and mobile, so make sure you fill out both forms if you want to try the game on PS5. The PS5 Technical Test will kick off sometime soon, so we’ll update this post once we learn more information from Hoyoverse.

How to Sign Up for the Zenless Zone Zero PS5 Technical Test

To sign up for the PlayStation 5 Technical Test of Zenless Zone Zero, just visit the sign-up page and fill out the survey to give Hoyoverse an idea of what kind of gamer you are. In addition to your contact information, you’ll be asked about your familiarity with other Hoyoverse games like Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and Honkai Star Rail plus your experience with other popular games like Monster Hunter and Elden Ring.

Again, filling out the form doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get into the Technical Test and previous Zenless Zone Zero betas have turned out to be pretty exclusive, so don’t get your hopes up after submitting. ZZZ doesn’t even have an official release date yet on any platform, so there’s a chance that there could be a second PS5 beta sometime in the future. Don’t give up hope if you don’t get chosen for this one.

Zenless Zone Zero is slated to launch on PC, PS5, and mobile devices sometime in 2024. If you add the game to your PSN wishlist, you’ll get 20 Master Tapes (used for gacha pulls) and other rewards. Hoyoverse’s previous game, Honkai Star Rail, launched a few months late on PlayStation 5, so there’s also a chance that Zenless Zone Zero won’t make it to PS5 on day one, however.
