How to earn GP in Persona 5 Tactica

Leveling up!

Persona 5 Tactica has a big skill tree for you to invest in with each of the various characters you’ll use throughout the game. You’ll need GP to be able to unlock things in that skill tree, so here’s our guide on how to earn GP in Persona 5 Tactica.

How do you earn GP in Persona 5 Tactica?

Earning GP in Persona 5 Tactica naturally can honestly be a bit confusing, as I’ve tried to figure out the ways you accumulate it via just playing the game, as well as the other methods that exist for getting it. But I think I’ve figured it out, so here’s the basic way of earning GP: you earn GP in Persona 5 Tactica by simply playing the game and leveling up. You earn quite a bit doing this, too, as I was finding I’d regularly have about 10-20 ready to go at any point, which was usually enough to unlock a skill up until the endgame where skills cost more.

There are other ways of earning GP, too

Another way to get GP in Persona 5 Tactica is to actually complete quests — this is a way to get a lot of GP immediately, as it’s usually one fight accompanied by anywhere from 10-20 GP, which is easily enough for you to grab that skill you’ve been working towards the entire time. Quests only grant you GP for certain characters, so for me, when I was progressing through the game, I would do quests that give GP to my first-choice party immediately, but I’d leave the ones that didn’t for later, and do them in a bunch at another time.

The final way to earn GP is by doing the Talks between missions. These little conversations in Persona 5 Tactica have a lot of heart to them, and give you some insight into the events of the main story, the thoughts of some characters, or are just simply a pretty fun interaction between characters. At the end of each of these Talks, you get a set amount of GP, which isn’t a lot, but it’s given to each member of the party. This makes the Talks a pretty decent way to get GP for every member of the party.
