How to find and beat the Megabomb in MW3 Zombies

"Cerberus, monster cruel and uncouth, With his three gullets like a dog is barking, Over the people that are there submerged."

If you’re looking for a challenge today, why not try to take down the demonic three-headed guardian of the gates of Hell? The MegaAbomination, or Megabomb, in MW3 Zombies, is a heck of a beast — one that takes some serious talent to find and beat.

Understandably, both areas are in the red zone of the MW3 Zombies map. Thankfully, you don’t need to get too deep into it to find the Megabomb. The first area is in the bottom left of the zone, just over the highlighted bridge. The second area is to the top right of the zone at the topmost bridge. You’ll know which one it is — the Megabomb isn’t a shy enemy in MW3 Zombies.

How to beat the Megabomb

Before you even decide to start hunting the Megabomb in MW3 Zombies, make sure you have what you need to take the Guardian of Hell’s gates down. Approaching the dog with your starting weapons and a single-plate vest isn’t going to end well.

Ensure you have a good selection of Perk-A-Cola’s equipped and at least two rare or above weapons. Anything less than this is going to be like shooting a tank with a pea shooter. I would opt for some longer-range weapons so that you can keep your distance while still laying on the heavy, accurate damage.

As far as it goes for tactics, become a weaponized dentist. Aim for the Megabomb’s three gaping mouths for maximum damage. The problem with three heads is three mouths. Empty everything you can into those gaping maws.

Due to the Megabomb’s proximity to the bridges and tier-two zones, there is a unique opportunity to kite him in MW3 Zombies. Get him locked onto you and try to get it to follow you over a bridge into the slightly lower zone. Therefore, this will reduce the level of the surrounding zombies. If you’re really lucky, it will get stuck on the other side of the bridge. Then, you can use long-range weapons to pick away at its health.
