Modern Warfare Zombies has been off to a flying start, and the reintroduction of features fans have missed over the years has been a delight. Classic Wonder Weapons are back, and we will rank them all in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies below.

Modern Warfare Zombies: All Wonder Weapons ranked

Wonder Weapons are often outlandish compared to the rest of the arsenal within the game, but they’re essential for your survival. While also rare, these three weapons currently in MW3 zombies will be helpful for players, and our rankings of them will be subjective, as you may prefer one or the other.

3. Wunderwaffe DG-2

While it may be the favorite for players who have fond memories of this Wonder Weapon, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is a potent weapon at times; it just doesn’t have the useability of the other two Wonder Weapons.

While it can chain together numerous kills just fine, it lacks consistent firing power. For that, we turn to some better options, like…

2. Ray Gun

We know, we know, the Ray Gun is undoubtedly the staple Wonder Weapon in the Zombies franchise, and while it serves a purpose in this year’s iteration of the game mode, the newly added Wonder Weapon has taken its place at the top of the rankings.

The Ray Gun will be most viable when there’s a crowd of zombies chasing you, and players can easily mow these down by shooting at the ground, chaining together an AoE blast. We have all seen this play out before in zombies, and there’s no better feeling than getting the Ray Gun out of the mystery box, but the final weapon is too powerful.

1. The Scorcher

The Scorcher rounds the list all out. The powerful laser weapon that offers players two distinct firing modes is new to Modern Warfare Zombies, and I wish it had been in every iteration of the game mode from the start. It’s a blast to use in combat.

The first firing mode is a charged shot, with the other being a single-fire laser shot that has infinite ammo. That’s more than enough to solidify the Scorcher atop our list until another Wonder Weapon usurps it down the line. The weapon has too much power and is too much fun to not instantly shoot to the top of the list.
