How to find and extract the research documents from the Ashika Science Center in Warzone 2 DMZ

Off to steal someone's homework.

The science center on Ashika Island is one of the map’s many potential hotspots, and it just so happens that one of Warzone 2‘s DMZ faction quests involves raiding this building. The ‘Toxic Research’ mission will have players rummaging through the center hoping to snatch sensitive info. Thankfully, this job isn’t as complicated as the others. Here’s how to do it in Warzone 2 DMZ, which includes how to find and extract the research documents from the Ashika Science Center.

The center is located directly west of Tsuki Castle, right between the Town Center and the Ashika Power Plant. Players will need to get a copy of the Research Center Room key — they won’t be able to get the research documents from the Ashika Science Center without it. There’s no need to bring anything else here (except maybe for a gun or two).

Random keys often drop from HVTs, so try completing some of Warzone 2 DMZ’s HVT elimination contracts in hopes of getting one. Alternatively, loot the coats and jackets hanging on walls as they might have a spare key or two in their pockets.

Once you get the Research Center Room key, head to the second floor of the center and look for the grey door marked with an X. Open it up and loot everything inside. The research documents should be near the desk. There should also be a couple of orange supply caches here, which may contain weapons, valuables, or even Building 21 Access Cards. After all of that’s done, head to the nearest exfil zone, call a chopper, and head home.

The Ashika Science Center isn’t as heavily fortified as its neighboring Strongholds, but you can bet there are still some Shadow Company agents in the general area. Also, since this building is a quest area, there’s a big chance that other players will be trying to get the research documents as well, so keep an eye out.
