Where to find flammable canisters in MW3
The best place to find flammable canisters in MW3 is in the Reactor mission, which is the third mission in the campaign. This mission is an Open Combat Mission and it covers a fairly large area. While flammable canisters may be found in other Open Combat Missions, I’ve found they are easiest to find here.

The two places where I personally have found flammable canisters in MW3 Reactor are noted in the image above. One is in a warehouse on some crates in the center of the map and the other is out in the open near the helicopter objective in the northeastern part of the map.
How to use flammable canisters in MW3
To use a flammable canister, all you need to do is pick it up. You’ll see the controls at the bottom of the screen. While carrying the flammable canister, light it. Then, if you want to get the Hey, Catch trophy/achievement, throw it at an enemy. You have to hit them, so make sure you’re standing close.
After you hit an enemy with the flammable canister, wait a few seconds and it’ll blow up. In general, I don’t recommend using flammable canisters to win fights, but it is a fun tool to try at least once.
