The “game assets between client and server don’t match” error in Diablo 4, while apparently being self-explanatory, was affecting and still does affect many players trying to log in to the game due to the recent launch of Season 2, Season of the Blood. This error in particular could indicate that a player is attempting to run an outdated version of Diablo 4. However, many players have reported that this is not the case. For now, the only guarantee for all of us waiting to play Season 2 is to wait for Blizzard to release a patch addressing this error.
