How to get a Wolf Claw in LEGO Fortnite

It's time to go to battle.

In LEGO Fortnite, you’ll be needing Wolf Claws for certain recipes. Getting them is dangerous, however, so you’ll need to prepare.

Preparing to fight Wolves in LEGO Fortnite

To get Wolf Claws in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to take down the vicious wolves that’ll be prowling around. You’ve probably bumped into them a few times already. They’re quick and dangerous, so you’ll need to adequately prepare before sallying out to hunt them down.

By now, you should have the sword and shield unlocked in the crafting bench. Quickly prepare the wooden items you need, and craft them as soon as you can. Only with a sword and shield are you going to be able to face them.

Also, make sure to talk to another NPC, whether a villager or not, as you can ask them to come exploring with you, making them a companion. These companions will fight for you and collect resources with you, so having an extra pair of hands is very handy.

Note that you can’t ask Cuddle Team Leader to be a companion.

With a companion, a sword, a shield, and some food, you’ll be ready to head out into the grasslands to get yourself some Wolf Claws.

Fighting Wolves and getting Wolf Claws in LEGO Fortnite

In LEGO Fortnite, you won’t have to travel far to find wolves. They’ll be walking around the Grasslands, hunting sheep or simply loitering. Go exploring, and you’ll quickly find one.

They’ll detect you from a good range and will go to charge at you. Make sure to raise your shield to block the attack — otherwise, you’ll suffer major damage. When engaged with the wolf, make sure to hit it repeatedly before it runs off or strikes again.

You can allow your companion to do all of the work if you want to, although if there is more than one wolf, they may get outnumbered, and you’ll have to step in.

In my experience, every wolf has dropped 4 Wolf Claws, so you’ll need to hunt down a couple to build the Spinning Wheel, if that’s what you’re after.

With the right equipment, you’ll find that wolves are easy to kill, so you could go on a hunting expedition with a partner and collect more Wolf Claws than you’ll know what to do with.
