For all of the Dune fans out there – for both the novel and the three movie adaptations – Modern Warfare 3 is now featuring the Trial of Power event. As you might expect, this event will grant you Dune-themed freebies. Even better, you are not required to purchase any type of extra content…except for the Paul Atrides skin.
Just like the Return of Makarov event during what is known as Season 0, each of these rewards is locked behind an XP milestone. If you bought the Paul Atrides skin, you will have a significant XP boost during the duration of this event. While there’s a majority of Dune-themed rewards, you will also get valuable Double XP bonuses for XP, weapon XP, and even Battle Pass XP. Be sure to make use of them once you get to unlock them and you will be unlocking all of this content in no time. I recommend playing Zombies and objective-based matches so that you can make the best out of your in-game time and maximize your XP earnings. After all, the Sand & Spice camo appears to be worth it.
