Diablo 4: How to Get All Midwinter Blight Rewards
It is well established that gifts shall be exchanged during the holiday season. And since the folks at Blizzard have a kind and giving heart thanks to recent Diablo 4 additions, the Midwinter Blight event couldn’t be any different. However, while you might expect to get a big and heavy gift from Santa after behaving well for a whole year, to get Midwinter Blight rewards means destroying totems, killing minor demons, and decapitating the major ones. Sure sounds like Christmas to me! But anyway, to get all Midwinter Blight, you will have to collect a specific amount of Midwinter Proof. Midwinter Proof is an item that can be crafted from the three Midwinter Blight currencies:
- Blighted Fragment: Collected by defeating the average Blightfiends. These are their masks.
- Lost Heirloom: Collected by destroying Frigid Husks. These are possessions from Midwinter Blight victims.
- Red-Cloaked Trophy: Collected after defeating and decapitating the Red-Cloaked Horror. It’s the monster’s head (yikes).
Each of these currencies will be useful since they can be converted to Midwinter Proof. Go back to the Midwinter Square and interact with the Collection’s Square right next to Gileon. You can then exchange a specific amount of each item for one Midwinter Proof:
- 300 x Blighted Fragment yields one Midwinter Proof.
- 30 x Lost Heirloom yields one Midwinter Proof.
- 1x Red-Cloaked Trophy yields one Midwinter Proof.
Midwinter Proof Reward Cost
Once you collected enough Midwinter Proofs you can speak to Gileon to exchange them for specific cosmetic rewards. In total, there are 14 different cosmetics you can unlock during the Midwinter Blight event: five backpieces (one per class), eight weapon skins, and one mount trophy.

To unlock every single cosmetic reward, you will need to collect a total of 510 Midwinter Proofs. Converted to each currency, you will either need 153,000 Blighted Fragments, 15,300 Lost Heirlooms, or 510 Red-Cloaked Trophies. That’s what I call a grind! Let’s just hope the drop chances are not as rare as I would expect them to be.
