Air Horn can be found inside facilities as a random useable loot. Many often get confused about the difference between an Air Horn and a Loud Horn. While both of these items do the same job, both are completely different items. The Air Horn can be found as loot, but the Loud Horn needs to be bought from the store by spending 150 credits.

Just like Flashlight and other items of Lethal Company, Loud Horn also needs to be bought by using the Terminal. You need to enter some computer commands in the Terminal for a successful purchase of this item. Follow the given steps to buy a Loud Horn in Lethal Company.

  • Go near the Terminal Console.
  • Press “E” to access the console.
  • Type “Store” and press Enter.
  • Type Loud Horn and press Enter again.
  • Lastly, type “CONFIRM” and press Enter to confirm your order.
  • If you want to buy multiple Loud Horns together, type Loud Horn followed by the number of horns you want in the order screen. “Loud Horn 3,” for example.

The Loud Horn is available in Lethal Company as a ship upgrade. So, you cannot carry this item in your inventory, rather it will be placed in your ship as an upgrade. This will not bring any significant change to your gameplay but only act as simple equipment to make sounds.

How does the Air Horn work in Lethal Company

If you have stumbled upon an Air Horn inside the facilities, you can grab the item and equip it in your hand. After equipping the horn, press the left mouse button to blow it and it will make a loud noise. Be careful that this might attract creatures inside the facility, who do not like loud noises.

On the other hand, the Loud Horn will be placed on your ship after you confirm your order from the Terminal store. Stand near the Loud Horn and press “E” to pull a rope and make a loud sound. The Loud Horn can mainly be used as an alarm mechanism for your crew. While your team is exploring different parts of the moon, you can sound the Air Horn to send signals to them.

The Loud Horn can also be used to save your teammates from monsters. If your crew is getting chased by any monster, the sound of the Loud Horn can turn the attention of the monster towards your ship, giving your friend a chance to escape. Compared to its usage, the Air Horn is not a profitable investment. Unless you have met the profit quota and have extra credits to spend, we would advise you not to spend 150 credits on this item.
