Let the bullets fly!

The Dawning event asks Guardians to search far and wide for festive ingredients. Bullet Spray should be an easy one, but it has a low drop rate. If you’re struggling, let me show you how to get Bullet Spray in Destiny 2 Dawning.

Where to get the Bullet Spray ingredient in Destiny 2

Bullet Spray has a chance to drop whenever you defeat an enemy with Auto Rifles, Submachine Guns, or Heavy Machine Guns. This requirement is one of the most straightforward in the event, but Bullet Spray is still a rare ingredient and won’t drop every time.

Considering the easy requirement, getting the required ingredients took me a while. Bullet Spray seems to have a lousy drop rate, although your mileage may vary.

I’ve been rocking a Stasis Titan for a few days, and my primary weapon is the Unending Tempest SMG. Considering how much I’ve used the gun, I should have a ton of Bullet Spray ingredients, but that’s definitely not the case. If you’re in the same situation as me, ensure your weapon is landing the final blows instead of grenades or abilities like Stasis Crystals.

Although it took me a while to get the Bullet Spray ingredients, I still think Strikes are the best place to get them. Strikes are easy content, and there are always plenty of mobs. You’ll sometimes be paired with players who fly through the activity and kill everything that moves, but Strikes are more reliable than hunting in the wild. A few Exotic Engrams are also up for grabs each week to sweeten the deal.

I hope your Dawning ingredient hunt is going smoothly, but one that may trip you up is the Perfect Taste. This ingredient seems to have an extremely low drop rate, so check out our guide if you need assistance.
