Where to find Iron Ingots in Wizard with a Gun

There are two ways to get Iron Ingots in Wizard with a Gun: finding them in a run and crafting them. First, we’ll go over finding them.

In my experience, Scavengers, the big enemies with crow masks and a big burlap sack, always produce one or two Iron Ingots when eliminated. They can be tough to take down because they have a lot of health and they often run away, but defeating them is one of the best ways to get Iron Ingots in a run. I recommend you use the best ammo types to defeat them.

Scavengers are almost always by buildings that contain chests. Often, I’ll find Iron Ingots in those chests, which is why I recommend that as the second-best way to get Iron Ingots in a run. Whenever you come across a building, eliminate any hostile enemies around and then loot the chests to get Iron Ingots.

The easiest and best way to get Iron Ingots in Wizard with a Gun is by melting metal in a Furnace. If you don’t want to farm for Iron Ingots during runs, all you need to do is collect metal, build a Furnace, place a fuel source in there like wood — or even better, Mechana Oil — and wait for your metal to turn into Iron Ingots.

You’ll get plenty of Mechana Oil by defeating the stone enemies called Mechanas. You can get a lot of metal just by destroying metal structures during a run. Use both of those resources in a Furnace, which you unlock by finding a Furnace somewhere in the open world, and you’ll have an easy way to always have Iron Ingots.
