If you try to approach the Green Lantern mission to try and kill him, however, you’ll find a bunch of green turrets that pelt you with unending gunfire. There’s seemingly no way to get past these turrets and that would deter most people, but some Suicide Squad players are determined to kill Green Lantern early in the game.

How to Defeat the Green Lantern Turrets in Suicide Squad

Early in the game, there is no way to destroy the Green Lantern turrets in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. You’re not meant to fight him until much later in the story, so the mission icon will remain on your map for quite some time. If you stay in the area and try to fight the turrets, the team will repeat dialogue suggesting that they’re not ready for this mission just yet.

If you check the mission icon on the map, you’ll see that it has a dangerous red aura and several upward arrows next to it. Those arrows are an indicator of the mission’s difficulty and how the enemies’ gear compares to yours. Put simply, the Green Lantern mission icon is just a way to entice players to gear up and prepare to take down the rest of the Justice League.

Don’t worry, though, Green Lantern’s time will come soon enough. There are more important things to take care of before the fight, like visiting LexCorp to continue the main storyline. There are many more missions that you’ll need to complete before you can take the fight to the Justice League, and you’ll unlock new vendors and abilities that will help you gear up and hone your builds for every member of the squad.
