The Rock the Cradle mission is set in a unique locale. Instead of your typical bank heist, you’re in a nightclub, which changes the mission dynamic. There’s a blue keycard on this heist that is crucial to progress through the area. As you may have guessed, it’s not easy to access as a guard always has it on them. If you want it, you have to work for it. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get the Blue Keycard in the Rock the Cradle mission in Payday 3.

How to get the blue keycard in Rock the Cradle mission in Payday 3

You can get tantalizingly close to the Blue Keycard right at the start of this mission. The guard on the right by the VIP doors has it hanging off the back of his belt. No matter what you do, it’s impossible to grab it here without being spotted, but fear not; there’s another way.
Lockpick the door by the bar

Walk to the locked door next to the bar, crouch in the corner, and slowly move forward until you can interact with the lock. In this position, you can pick the lock. If any of the bar staff see you, you have time to stop picking, so wait a few moments, then try again.
Head upstairs; there’s a camera in the far corner of the next room, but if you step near the DJ, you’ll prompt an optional mission objective. Shade suggests that you mess with the music to create a distraction, and we’re going to do exactly that.
Find the speakers

The speakers are directly above you, but you will need to put your mask on to reach them. There’s a flight of stairs blocked by a rope in the room with the camera. This mighty rope has magical properties, meaning no mere mortal can move it aside or jump over it. Jokes aside, put on your mask next to the rope and walk up the stairs. To your right, you’ll find the speakers, but don’t wander in just yet, as there are two cameras you need to be aware of.
Reconfigure the speakers

There’s a speaker box on each corner of this section with two sweeping cameras guarding them. Crouch and slowly make your way around the landing, interacting with every speaker. You can use the boxes to break the ‘line of sight’ as you travel around the area. Remember, cameras can spot you briefly, but they will only sound the alarm if you can’t hide. Keep an eye on their movements, take your time, and you’ll be fine.
You’ll be told to deal with the DJ when you’ve interacted with all four speakers.
You don’t really have to “deal” with the DJ

I know you’re a bloodthirsty lot, but if you crouch behind the DJ, you can reach the panel in front of him without him even knowing. When you do this, the music will change (it’s hilarious) and prompt our keycard-bearing friend to investigate.
Claim your prize
The guard will come up the same stairs you did, and you’ve got plenty of time to get into position. I like waiting on the landing next to the stairs. When the guard walks past, you can take the card off his belt from behind, and he will be none the wiser. Just beware of the camera, as it will spot you if you let the guard walk too far into the room.
