How to increase base storage in Palworld

So much storage, so little time.

Whenever I play games like Palworld that have resource management, I always forget to upgrade my character’s storage and my base’s storage capacity. It slows everything down and becomes annoying.

Thankfully, the game is easy to adapt to, and expanding your inventory space at your base can’t be any easier. To learn how to increase base storage in Palworld, you should dive into this guide.

Palworld: How to increase base storage capacity

Storage capacity is much different than your weight capacity. The former is how much your base can hold, and the latter is how much you can hold. Both can be upgraded as you level up. However, base storage needs more resources the more you go up. Increasing storage capacity in Palworld is done with Technology Points. The faster you get them, the sooner you can get more storage.

To expand your storage, you’ll need to build different types of storage sets. For example, the Antique Storage Set which unlocks at around level 14 will have 20 slots. On top of that, since none of the objects in the Technology Tab give you any information, you can hover over each of them to find out more. Storage is usually labeled Structure, so if you navigate over each of them, it will tell if that item can hold objects.

If you’re anything like me and started Palworld off slow with not that many resources, you can build multiple storages of the same kind. While, you are limited to around 10 slots, having more than one place to dump things you find can make things better.

Tips for Base storage in Palworld

Everyone has their own resource management process. However, my best piece of advice would be to take half. Half of everything means you still have something at home base to pick up. When you’re starting, this is more important because of the small space in both your inventory and the bases. As you learn to manage what you have during the early stages, that discipline can take you farther because storage probably won’t be an issue.

Increasing your capacity is important, but your stamina and health hold everything of your character together. You can find out how to increase those traits with this handy guide.
