How to increase Stamina in Dragons Dogma 2

Gotta go fast!

Stamina is an expendable resource in Dragons Dogma 2 that I found myself running out of all too frequently. It is used for everything, from sprinting to swordplay, and leaves you completely debilitated when it runs out. Here’s how to boost it.

The best way to upgrade your Stamina is by simply leveling up. For every new level you gain in Dragons Dogma 2, you will receive a boost to most of your core stats, including stamina. It may feel like you’re constantly running out at the beginning, but it will improve as you progress.

Level up

I understand the frustration of not being able to run more than a few steps before being completely winded, both in-game and in real life. However, as you progress in Dragons Dogma 2, you will notice you can run further and further as your Stamina improves.

Lighten your load

The second way to greatly increase your stamina in a pinch in Dragons Dogma 2 is by carrying less. If you’re overloaded, not only will you move slower, but your stamina will run down a lot faster, too. Consider offloading some of your gear at a merchant or giving it to your Pawns. However, be aware that you can overload your Pawns, too, and they’ll be a lot less helpful.

If you keep an eye out for the Golden Beetles located around the map, this will help increase your carry load. For every Golden Beetle you consume, your stamina will consequently improve. Well, until you fill your inventory again.

Find the right equipment

Equipment in Dragons Dogma 2 can help with load, stamina, health, and many other things. Look out for things like rings and cloaks that can increase your stamina. You can find them at vendors around the map. If you’re really lucky, you may even be able to loot one from a chest or enemy.

Stamina Boosting equipment

  • The Ring of Tenacity – Has a drop chance by the Cyclops or can be bought from Celeste’s Smithy at the checkpoint. This ring will give you a boost of 90.
  • Ring of Momentum – Also dropped by Cyclops. Gives a 150 Stamina boost.

Another way to increase stamina is with augments. Luckily, we’ve got a list of the best of them.
