While each Vocation has five Augments for you to unlock, you only get to equip six Augments. Here are the best Augments in Dragon’s Dogma 2:

  1. Verve – Augments your Strength.
  2. Mettle – Augments your physical Defense.
  3. Endurance – Increases your maximum Stamina.
  4. Exaltation – Augments your Stamina recovery speed.
  5. Sagacity – Augments your Magick.
  6. Dominance – Augments your Knockdown Power.

There are a lot of great Augment combination possibilities in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but whatever combination you go with, it will likely have at least one or two of the Augments above since they are so strong.

Some of my favorite Augments are Detection as it makes finding Seeker’s Token much easier, Vigor because I like climbing enemies and don’t want my Stamina to fall too fast, and Catalysis because it allows me to deal more elemental damage if enemies are weak to it.
