Animals play a large role in the LEGO Fortnite. They can help you get more resources like food, or they can be a pain like the many wolves that roam around. However, if you’re an animal lover and want to play passively, you can do just that. Here I’ll show you how to lure and befriend animals in LEGO Fortnite.Â

Doing this adorable mechanic can never be easier, but it’s not explained at all. To befriend an animal, you have to lure it. Don’t worry, this won’t hurt the animal. First, locate food like pumpkin, corn, or raspberries. These are probably the most common foods to find, so you can obtain a good amount in no time.

Next, once you have the food item for the animal, find them roaming around anywhere. Make sure you get distance from them otherwise, you’ll scare them off, and you will have to repeat the steps above. At a safe distance, open up your inventory and select whichever food item you want. For me, it was the pumpkin. Press the drop option from the menu, and your character will place it in front of them.
Now just wait a little bit till the animal approaches. If it’s a group, any random animal should come up to the food item. When they do, you have to become an animal whisperer in LEGO Fortnite and give yourself a pat on the back.
What’s the benefit of giving animals food?
It’s usually a good idea to give them good because they will drop unique items, not all the time, but the chance is still high. For cows, they’ll drop milk, sheep will drop wool, and chickens drop eggs.Â
Rather than going back to your village or campsite, you can look for a passive animal like a sheep, and get resources on demand. This way, harvesting resources is much more streamlined.
