LEGO Fortnite: How to build an airship

The best part about building an airship in LEGO Fortnite with the blueprints I’m about to provide you is it’s very similar to how to build a boat. Both this airship and the boat give you a spacious deck to walk on and left and right steering controls. The cherry on top is it’s not too complicated to make.

First, we start with two Dynamic Foundations. Snap these together by placing them next to one another. I always like to give it a push to make sure that they are connected — the last thing you want is to get far along this process and realize your foundation is off.

Next, we build a corral for our left and right steering. To do this, build a fence around the left and right of the ship, but don’t close it off just yet.

This is the hardest part of the build. We need two dynamic blocks to serve as our engines. To do this, you need to use a tall block and build it as far back as you can while keeping it centered with the corral. Then, use the small blocks to build out and then build another small block under.

Place a Small Thruster on the small block underneath and then break all the other blocks in reverse order of how you placed them. If you do this right, you’ll get one dynamic block not attached to anything that has a Small Thruster on it. Do this on both sides.

After that, place four Small Balloons on all the corners. This will help keep the aircraft level while flying.

Temporarily, you need to place a fifth and sixth Small Ballon on the middle front and middle back. This will slowly lift your airship into the sky but don’t worry because it will hover in place after a while.

With your airship lifted, place two Small Thrusters on the bottom. This part is tricky because it’s hard to tell if everything is centered, but you need to make sure both engines are symmetrical and placed in the center of each Dynamic Foundation, or else you won’t get an even upward propulsion.

Step 6 To Make An Airship In Lego Fortnite

With all the Small Thrusters in place, all you need to do now is place Buttons on the left and right blocks and a Button in the middle to control the upward lift. Also, corral the two engines on the left and right by placing a floor tile over it to make a ceiling and a fence in the back. This is important so your engines don’t fly away mid-flight.

And that is how you make a solid airship in LEGO Fortnite. Feel free to add to it and create something that is wholly your own. Have fun!
