Content Warning: How to play with more than four players

Similar to the hit success Lethal Company, Content Warning is just begging for an increased max player count. The good news is that you can play with more than four players in Content Warning with a mod by 753.network. In just less than 24 hours, someone has already made a mod that allows you to increase the maximum player count of this horror co-op game.

Although typically Content Warning only allows for up to four players, this mod can increase your max player capacity to a whopping 128 players! You probably will never reach that amount, but it’s wild to think that it’s possible. The reply to this Twitter/X post shares a link to this creator’s Discord where you can download the mod for yourself.

They’ve also linked the Content Warning Modding server, stating that you may already find a better alternative to this mod. So far, this seems to be the most popular and well-known mod for Content Warning that increases the max player count, but it’s also just been over a day.

Content Warning released on Steam for free on April 1, presumably in celebration of April Fool’s Day. It was only free for 24 hours and is now available to purchase for $7.99. If you and your friends are eager to play a game like Lethal Company, this is the game for you. You purchase items to prepare for diving into the Old World to capture the best footage to go viral online.

If you’re unsure where to look for the download, once you enter the 753.network Discord server you can download the mod file right from the announcements channel. Download the zip file and extract it right in your Content Warning folder.

Now that you and your friends can play Content Warning with however many players you’d like, you should make sure to go down to the Old World prepared by knowing all monster types.
