Diablo 4: How to Start the Abattoir of Zir Event
While the Abattoir of Zir event is live now for all Diablo 4 players to enjoy, that doesn’t mean that all players will get to experience it. You see, while everyone has the chance to partake in this event, the requirements to start it may sound ludicrous to many. To sum it up pretty nicely, the only thing you need to get to start the Abattoir of Zir event is the Bloodforged Sigil to open up the Blood Portal in the city of Ked Bardu.
The Abattoir of Zir is a really hard Dungeon ala Nightmare Dungeons, so it was only natural that you would need a specific Sigil to open it. However, that is where all hopes get crushed and dreams demolished. You see, first, we have the crafting materials. You will need to gather 60,000 gold – which is not difficult, to be honest – and 800 Sigil Powder. To get Sigil Powder you will have to salvage Nightmare Sigils with the Occultist at Kyovashad. You will have to farm Sigils by opening Tree of Whisper caches and running Nightmare Dungeons.
However, before you even get the chance to craft the Bloodforged Sigil, you will have to complete the Season of the Blood journey. That is a massive feat since you will first have to level up to level 100 – which in itself will take a significant amount of hours -, defeat Uber Lilith on the Echo of Hatred Capstone Dungeon, and even complete a tier 90 Nightmare Dungeon. Pretty much an uphill battle.

Get ready to get rid of enemies and even a boss in under 10 minutes. The Abattoir of Zir will only get more difficult from there. Be prepared, and don’t die.
