How to unlock more XP Boosters in XDefiant

Before hopping into a match in XDefiant you may notice the ability to add an XP Booster. You can’t activate all XP Boosters just yet, so how can you unlock more of them in XDefiant? Here’s how to do it.

You can apply Battle Pass and Weapon XP Boosters before matches in XDefiant which can allow you to earn more XP for certain amounts of time. You only get five 20-minute Weapon XP Boosters at first, but everything else is locked. You can unlock all the other Boosters in XDefiant by completing the Battle Pass.

If you check out the Battle Pass screen for this online multiplayer first-person shooter, you’ll notice that different Battle Pass levels earn you different Boosters. Unfortunately, Battle Pass and Weapon Boosters are typically exclusive to the Premium Battle Pass, meaning you have to purchase it to unlock them.

There are some free rewards for players who don’t want the Battle Pass, one of them being an XP Booster, but anyone who wants more Boosters can’t get them without paying. The other thing to remember is that these XP Boosters aren’t reusable.

Once you use it once, you’re unable to use it again. Purchasing the Premium Battle Pass allows you to earn the same type of Booster multiple times. Here are all the Boosters and which levels you earn them at during the Pre-season Battle Pass:

• 40-minute Battle Pass XP Boosters:
  • Instant
  • Level 38
• 40-minute Weapon XP Boosters:
  • Level 3
  • Level 25 (Free)
  • Level 33
  • Level 43
• 20-minute Battle Pass XP Boosters:
  • Level 18
• 20-minute Weapon XP Boosters:
  • Level 13

So what about the 1-hour XP Boosters? For now, I’m unsure of where you can unlock those since there were none available in the Battle Pass. Perhaps there are other ways to earn XP Boosters that we don’t know about yet. Otherwise, what’s the deal with XDefiant’s matchmaking?
