How to unlock new Symbiote Suit Styles in Spiderman 2 NG+

More Symbiote Styles!

Upon starting up your New Game Plus file, you’ll notice Peter has nine new Suit Styles available, three for each of his Symbiote Suits. It’s not clear how they are unlocked which is why you’re here looking for an answer.

In New Game Plus, you’ll likely have all the Suits and their Styles unlocked for Peter and Miles. However, Peter’s Black Suit, Symbiote Suit, and Anti-Venom Suit each have three Styles that you need to unlock. Nowhere in-game does it tell you how to unlock these Symbiote Suit Styles.

What we do know is that unlocking the Symbiote Suit, Black Suit, and Anti-Venom Suit Styles are tied to Ultimate Level progression. Don’t get it confused — Ultimate Levels are the levels past 60 that you climb in the New Game Plus mode. It’s not required for you to play on Ultimate difficulty to earn Ultimate Levels.

Here is how to unlock all Peter’s NG+ Suit Styles:

  • Black Suit – Ultimate Levels 1, 4, and 7
  • Symbiote Suit – Ultimate Levels 2, 5, and 8
  • Anti-Venom Suit – Ultimate Levels 3, 6, and 9

Since unlocking the new Suit Styles is all about Ultimate Levels, you’ll want to know how to level up Ultimate Levels fast. The faster you climb Ultimate Levels, the closer you’ll be to unlocking the nine New Game Plus Suit Styles. As long as you continue through the story at a healthy clip and don’t ignore the side quests, then you’ll get the nine new Suit Styles in no time.

While I’m more prone to replay my favorite missions from the game instead of replaying the entire experience from scratch in NG+, if you do play through the entire experience in NG+, it’ll be only a matter of time before you unlock the new Suit Styles for Peter. Be sure to flex them online so other people (like me) can see what they’re missing and get jealous.
