GTA Online is already brimming with business opportunities. If you’d like yet another achievement to adorn your CV, then owning an Acid Lab might pick your fancy. Here’s how to unlock it in GTA Online.
Unlocking the Acid Lab in GTA Online
Unlike other businesses in GTA Online, you can’t simply buy the Acid Lab and begin construction. At least not initially. You’ll need to complete every First Dose mission to be able to buy it and begin your acid adventure.
If you’ve been playing the game, you may have already received a call from Ron. If so, there should be a giant “R” on your minimap. If you haven’t got this “R,” it either means you’ve gotta wait for the call, or you’ve already completed this step. This will start the Los Santos Drug Wars.
Follow this mission to completion, where you’ll find the Freak Shop Warehouse. This will be your future base of operations and will be the site where you can complete all of the First Dose missions in GTA Online.
Simply put, complete all First Dose missions:
- Designated Driver
- Fatal Incursion
- Uncontrolled Substance
- Make War not Love
- Off the Rails
A “D” on your map will show you where Dax is, and where you’ll be able to start these missions.
In the final mission, you’ll be stealing the Brickade 6×6. This will be your future Acid Lab.

Buying the Acid Lab in GTA Online
With the Brickade 6×6 in your possession, you’ll have to steal a bunch of Acid Lab supplies for the conversion. Warehouses containing such equipment will be added to your map.
With all of the Acid Lab equipment stolen, you can head back to the Freak Shop Warehouse. Talking to Mutt will allow you to convert the Brickade 6×6 into the Acid Lab — but for $750,000. To be fair, this isn’t a bad price. With the conversion finished, Mutt will give you a tour of your new purchase and will guide you through how the business is run.
Now you can go forth and run your own Acid empire with your Acid Lab. Just don’t consume too much of your own product, okay?
