It is no secret that Modern Warfare 3 is bringing a lot of content to the table thanks to the release of Season 1. And while you can enjoy many new game modes and a revitalized Warzone – with no number attached to it – two additions may go unnoticed. And since there is no point in making this any more suspenseful because you have already read the title, we are talking about the Swarm and the EMP killstreaks.
These killstreaks are back and you won’t have to wait to be able to unlock them! All you have to do is use the Armory Unlocks – yeah, I’m not a big fan either. Each of these killstreaks will require completing a whooping eight Daily Challenges. All Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone challenges count. Victories and contract completions now count as Daily Challenge points, so at least things are not as difficult as before.
The Swarm is a killstreak that was first introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It will deploy a small mosquito drone that will provide blanket coverage to a specific area. The EMP is a much more popular killstreak in the Call of Duty Saga. It made its debut on the OG Modern Warfare 2 with its latest appearance being on Modern Warfare (2019). It stands for “electromagnetic pulse,” and it will disable enemy killstreaks and equipment.
