New seasons of any Call of Duty always bring new ways for players to play, alongside the addition of new weapons. This is no different for MW3 Season 1, as players will be on the lookout for the new Ram-7 or Tar-21, and here’s how you’ll unlock it.
Modern Warfare 3 Season 1: How to Unlock the Ram-7
This variant of the Tar-21 is a weapon we’ve seen throughout the years, and it dates all the way back to the original Modern Warfare 2, which was released in 2009.
Now, in Modern Warfare 3 (2023), we have the weapon yet again, and it takes the name of the Ram-7. Sledgehammer Games has noted it’ll be usable upon the release of Season 1.
Thankfully, the method to unlock this weapon is quite simple, and it won’t be locked behind some store bundle or even for early access, as we’ve seen in the past.
To unlock the Ram-7 in Modern Warfare 3 Season 1, players will first need to purchase the battle pass and earn enough tokens to unlock Sector A7.
Based on the provided image below of the battle pass menu, players will simply need to go three positions to the right when they purchase the battle pass to obtain the Ram-7 the fastest way.

In terms of how viable the weapon will be, we can assume that the brand-new AR is going to be among the best the game has to offer.
It’ll be most viable up close or at medium range, and they’ve noted that it offers players a “lightweight frame” for added mobility, which is always beneficial.
