Just when you thought 2023 couldn’t get any crazier, Geoff Keighley pulled a fast one and put the ability to vote for The Game Awards in Fortnite. Well, it’s more complicated than that, but here’s how to vote for The Game Awards in Fortnite.

Fortnite: How to vote for The Game Awards

While The Game Awards is appearing in Fortnite for the first time, this isn’t voting for all of The Game Awards. Instead, you get to cast your vote for “The Best Creator Made Fortnite Island of the Year.” From the trailer, it looks like there are 10 nominees. There’s even a unique The Game Awards Island — check out the announcement trailer below.

After casting your vote for “The Best Creator Made Fortnite Island of the Year,” you can collect The Game Awards trophies for an XP Boost. These are all scattered around the map which makes The Game Awards Island more than just a place to vote.

What is the Fortnite The Game Awards Island Code?

Though The Game Awards will likely be found in the Featured column or somewhere else easily viewable in Fortnite, you can use the Island Code to go directly to The Game Awards vote Island. The Island Code you need for The Game Awards is 0853-1358-8532.

The Game Awards Island will go live Tuesday, November 14, 2023, and will likely come to a close around Tuesday, December 5, 2023, since The Game Awards is on December 7 and Fortnite weekly resets happen on Tuesdays.
