Any fan of the Soulslike genre is gearing up to play Another Crab’s Treasure when it launches on April 25, but is it coming to Xbox Game Pass? The platforms and services games release on can heavily determine how many players have access to games like this one.
Can you play Another Crab’s Treasure on Xbox Game Pass?
Another Crab’s Treasure is an action RPG and Soulslike where you play as a hermit crab who embarks on a journey to rescue his shell. But where can you play this game? Luckily, Another Crab’s Treasure is coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch day, which is April 25.
While you can purchase Another Crab’s Treasure on the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, if you have a Game Pass subscription you can play Another Crab’s Treasure for free! It’ll be arriving on Cloud, console, and PC Game Pass, which gives you a variety of options for how you want to play it.
If you own an Xbox Series X|S, you’ll be able to play Another Crab’s Treasure using your Game Pass subscription. Set in an underwater world, you play as Kril the hermit crab who is forced to wear trash in the ocean in place of his lost shell. Don’t mistake this bright, colorful game for something easier than most Soulslike games.
After taking a look at the Xbox store page for this game it seems like it’ll only be available through Game Pass and not for purchase since the store page says “Not available separately” in place of where its usual pricing would be. At this point, it should give you a pre-order option, but due to this wording, I’m guessing that you must have a Game Pass subscription to play it on your Xbox.
Otherwise, PC players have the option to play Another Crab’s Treasure either on Steam or through PC Game Pass. Speaking of games arriving on Xbox, what about No Rest for the Wicked?
