Unicorn Overlord is already looking to be a hit game for Vanillaware, as a lot of attention has been given to it. Such console-exclusive games will always come packed with the question, “Is it on Gamepass?”
Game Pass is a fantastic way to check out games you’re unsure of, as well as play games you are sure of for merely the subscription price. Can Game Pass satiate your curiosities of Unicorn Overlord?
Can you play Unicorn Overlord on Game Pass?
Unfortunately, Unicorn Overlord is not on Game Pass, so if you’re on Xbox and want to play it, you’ll have to buy it like everyone else. Not every game will make it to Game Pass, although new ones are being added every so often. I wouldn’t be too surprised if it eventually makes it over to Game Pass, although I don’t think it to be any time soon.
It’s no wonder that those who have bought into Gamepass will want Unicorn Overlord to be on it – it’s an awesome game (although one with a lack of the titular Unicorn). Those wanting a strategic challenge or a fantasy adventure will be flocking to the RPG.
If you want to purchase Unicorn Overlord, then you can buy the standard edition for $59.99, or the Monarch edition for $69.99. The Digital Monarch Edition also benefits from a digital artbook and a 16-bit Arranged Music Album, with 20 tracks.
If you’re hesitant to buy the title, then it’ll be worth playing the demo to see if it’s for you. If you’re still unsure, it may be worth waiting for Microsoft to snatch it into the clutches of Game Pass. But if you enjoy it, then buying it will be the only realistic option.
Unicorn Overlord may not yet be on Game Pass (yet), but it’s still worth checking out.
