Jagex brings back Runescape’s old combat system

It’s been two years since Jagex changed Runescape’s combat system, perhaps to its detriment. Today, they have revealed they are bringing back that old combat system, under a new Legacy Mode.

For those uninitiated, Jagex released Runescape’s Evolution Of Combat in 2012, bringing it more in line with competitors like World of Warcraft. As a fan succintly puts it, many players liked Runescape because it played like Runescape, and when Jagex took that out, they stopped playing.
