Just Cause 2 has topped the UK all formats chart in its first week of release.
The open world sequel held off stiff competition from another new entry, Pokemon Soulsilver while last week’s number two Battlefield: Bad Company 2 fell one place to number three.
Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 also put in a good showing, rising four places to number six after languishing on the fringe of the top ten.
