All Item Rarities in Last Epoch
Item rarities in ARPGs and dungeon crawlers like Last Epoch will keep your character getting stronger and make you feel the slightest bit of accomplishment. Since I come from Diablo, seeing Legendaries rank higher than Uniques in Last Epoch is baffling to me, so here are all the item rarities in Last Epoch, explained.
Last Epoch Rarities
| Rarity | Color | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Common | White | The most basic items you will get at the beginning of the game. These do not have any affixes – that is, modifiers. |
| Magic | Blue | These items are similar to the Common ones regarding their drop rate but will feature 1 to 2 affixes making them more desirable for starting players. |
| Rare | Yellow | Rare items feature 3 to 4 different affixes and are the most common drops during the midgame. |
| Exalted | Purple | Exalted items are similar to Magic and Rare ones, but they will feature Tier 6 affixes which will become very important for crafting during the endgame. |
| Set | Green | These items are similar in quality to Uniques, however, these feature modifiers may only activate if you have more items of the same set – therefore their name. |
| Unique | Orange | These items are the rarest you can find in the world and even after defeating bosses or dungeons and feature class-specific stats and affixes. These will also possibly carry Legendary Potential which will help you during Legendary crafting. |
| Legendary | Red | These items are obtained by combining Unique and Exalted items at the Eternity Cache. These will share the affixes from the Exalted items – and even add 1 or more – as well as the properties from the Uniques. |

In addition to the item rarities above, Experimental items feature special and unique affixes and can also be of any rarity. These will only drop from Exiled Mages, so make sure to keep these if they are Exalted to possibly make Legendaries with Experimental affixes.
