“Leave A Message”: Medal Of Honor Teaser Trailer

A new Medal of Honor trailer has popped out of its foxhole to take aim at our heartstrings.

It’s refreshingly light on set-piece explosions, focusing for the most part on an answer-phone message left by a serving soldier for his wife and child. It would be easy for this sort of thing to tip over into mawkish territory, but aside from a slightly businesslike “I love you” is quite well delivered.

EA Los Angeles has already been pushing the idea that this Medal of Honor will be about “the men on the ground,” and the tone adopted by this trailer seems to support that.

The relatively sedate pace is (perhaps intentionally) in marked contrast to the sensory overload of last weeks Black Ops teaser.
