Mafia 3 really did have a mixed response from players when it was released and now you can try it free.
Hangar 13 has now released a free demo and should you take it for a spin, and should you then buy the game, all progress will transfer over. The demo features the opening bank heist act which sets the scene for the game. It’s a pretty small slice but worth a look.
The download comes in at 24Gb which is not exactly small, but if you are interested, it’s worth it. Unfortunately, I can’t see the demo on Steam at the moment which may be because I own it or it’s not live yet so keep checking.
In other Mafia 3 news, the “Faster, Baby!” DLC has also just released adding to the game world with Sinclair Parish. There’ also a new plot in which Lincoln partners with local activist Roxy Laveau to avenge the murder of a prominent Civil Rights leader. You need to take down the nasty Sheriff “Slim” Beaumont and his gang.
