Mass Effect 3 Accidentally Revealed By EA Store

It was widely expected that BioWare’s teased project would be announced tonight at the VGA 2010 event as Mass Effect 3.
EA’s online store has accidentally confirmed this.
The chaps over at Joystiq spotted the error, and grabbed a couple of screenshots before the listing was pulled.
This blurb was also present, along with the platforms being listed as PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 (which may have just been placeholder data, but wouldn’t be too surprising as a platform line-up):
“Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth.”
Pretty vague stuff, but enough to confirm the game.
