Since you need to find and loot three Merc Camp loot caches and each Mercenary Camp only has one loot cache, you’ll need to visit three separate Merc Camps. Because of that, getting your 20 mercenary kills won’t be hard.

Every Merc Camp has a Counter UAV drone flying around. Before you get too close, take that out. With that gone, you’ll have an easier time looking for the Merc Camp cache.

After clearing out all or most of the mercenaries, you’ll find the Merc Camp cache near the center of the area. It looks like a briefcase with a little tracker on the side.

The pro tip I have to help you find the loot cache faster is to use the Death Perception Perk-a-Cola. Death Perception allows you to see through walls and see all the loot around you. With this, you can look for a small rectangle shape on the ground which will help you find the Merc Camp cache fast.

Once you’ve found and looted one Merc Camp cache, all you need to do is do that two more times. Usually, Merc Camp loot caches have a 2-Plate Armor Vest and Mercenary Stronghold Keycard which you can use to get into a Mercenary Stronghold. If you feel confident with your squad and current build, you can keep going to get a 3-Plate Armor Vest and Legacy Fortress Keycard which leads to even greater rewards.

If you don’t want to do that, you can exfil after completing the Merc Cleanup mission and move on to another difficult mission like Reaper.
