Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) Road Rage guide: How to repair a vehicle tire

Zombie, take the wheel!

One of the first missions in Modern Warfare Zombies is Road Rage which requires you to run over 30 zombies and repair a vehicle tire. Running over zombies is easy, but here is how to fix a vehicle tire in MWZ.

How to repair a vehicle tire in MWZ

After equipping the Road Rage mission either from the mission log or by getting it randomly after completing a different mission in the Exclusion Zone, you complete it by running over 30 zombies and repairing a tire on your vehicle.

Open your tac-map to find a vehicle. Any vehicle will do, but I used a big truck with six tires which helped with steering when one of the tires inevitably gets blown off. First, run over your 30 zombies; this is easy since four zombies spawn out of the group when none are around.

After getting your 30 zombies kills with a vehicle, get out of your vehicle and shoot the tire off. While you can wait for nearby zombies to deal enough damage to the vehicle for the tires to pop off, I think that’s too risky since they might not hit the tires and your vehicle may just blow up.

With one of the tires gone, open your tac-map again and ping the nearest gas station. Drive over to it and then (carefully so as to not blow up the gas station) drive up to the pump. Your vehicle will automatically start refueling and repairing. You’ll see your tire get restored.

With that done, you’ll see a random perk appear before you since that’s what happens when you complete missions in MWZ. You’ll also automatically get another mission which you can view on the left side of your tac-map.
